Built to pack out

Breathable 40D ripstop
The whole job of a game bag is cooling meat. Thick canvas traps heat and moisture; this breathable ripstop lets air move through while it keeps dirt, flies and debris off the quarters.

40 inches deep
Four 40" × 24" quarter bags take an elk hindquarter, and they fit a deer just fine — elk is the ceiling, not the minimum. The 17" × 29" fifth bag takes tenderloins, backstraps and trim.

Reflective tab, blaze-orange cinch
Pack-outs happen at 5 a.m. or after dark more often than not. A reflective tab catches a headlamp beam and the blaze-orange cinch cord makes a bag easy to spot against the ground.

Wash them, roll them, reuse them
Throw them in the washing machine and they come out fine. They roll up small, arrive pre-rolled in their own carrying pouch, and go back in the kill kit for next season.

Questions from the field
Sizing, fabric and reuse: what hunters ask before they buy game bags.
Will these actually fit an elk hindquarter?
Yes. The quarter bags are 40" deep by 24" wide.
I hunt whitetail, not elk — are these too big for deer?
They fit deer fine. Elk sizing is the ceiling: 40" × 24" for quarters, 17" × 29" for smaller cuts. Works for anything you're dragging out of the woods.
Do these smell like a chemical plant out of the box?
No. That's a real problem with a lot of bags and we knew it going in. These don't have that smell.
What's included with my purchase?
Four 40" × 24" quarter bags, one 17" × 29" bag for tenderloins and trim, and a carrying pouch. Whole animal, one pack.
Can I reuse these?
Yes. Throw them in the washing machine and they come out fine. Hunters run the same set for multiple seasons — that's the point.
What's the reflective strip for?
You're packing out at 5 a.m. or after dark more often than not. The strip catches a headlamp beam so the bag is easy to spot.
How small do they pack down?
They roll up tight and come pre-rolled in the carrying pouch. Not something you'll notice carrying in.
What fabric is it?
40D ripstop nylon. A game bag's job is cooling meat; breathable fabric lets air move through, which is what keeps meat from souring before you get it out.
