Where Alaska Guide Creations is genuinely better
We would rather you buy the right harness than our harness. These are real advantages.
- The Hook-and-Bungee closure is quiet and needs no magnets at all, which some hunters specifically want.
- The Gen L harness fixed the old neck-chafe complaint with slim padded straps and auto-locking buckles.
- Pro Tethers are included, and the semi-rigid body gives a clean one-handed extraction.

Where we think the LT2 wins
Warranty is discretionary
AGC repairs or replaces at their discretion. It is not a blanket lifetime policy. Ours is lifetime against manufacturing defects, in writing.
MOLLE placement
Only the RAVUS carries MOLLE on the sides and bottom. The Classic, Kodiak and Hybrid run three MOLLE straps on the bottom with flat mesh sides.
Price
$131 to $149 against $65 for the LT1 and $75 for the LT2, both of which include a rangefinder pouch.
Water resistance
Water-resistant, not waterproof, which is the same honest limit we state for the LT2.
Buy the Alaska Guide Creations if
You want a harness with no magnets anywhere, you value a bungee closure over a magnetic one, or their service reputation is worth the premium to you. On the no-magnet question they are a better answer than we are, because our lids are magnetic by design.
The price question, plainly
The LT2 is $75 and ships with a removable magnetic rangefinder pouch already on it. Alaska Guide Creations is $131 to $149 before accessories.
We are not claiming to be a different category of product. Same job, comparable materials at 500D Cordura with reinforced stitching, and a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. The difference is that you are not paying for a brand name.

Common questions
Is the LT2 as durable as the Alaska Guide Creations?
It is built from tear-resistant 500D Cordura with reinforced stitching and tough plastic hardware, and it is covered by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. We are comfortable putting it next to anything in this table on materials.
What is StealthStalk?
The fabric covering the LT2's Cordura shell. It dampens the noise a harness makes when it rubs against brush and cover, which is where a lot of harnesses give you away in cold, dry conditions.
Do I get a rangefinder pouch?
Yes, on both the LT1 and the LT2. It is removable and magnetic. If you run an oversized rangefinder or want a second one on the other side, the Universal Rangefinder Pouch is $15.
What if it does not fit my binoculars?
The compartment is 6" wide by 7.1" tall and covers 8x32 through 10x42 plus most 12x50. If yours do not fit, returns are free for 30 days.
