A binocular harness for hiking that keeps your glass reachable
Binoculars in a pack are binoculars you will not use. A chest harness is the difference between carrying optics and actually looking through them.

What this asks of a harness
Reachable without stopping
The whole reason to carry glass on a trail is to use it on something you were not expecting. That only works if it is on your chest.
It does not fight your pack
Adjustable padded straps let you set the fit with a pack already on, and the profile stays tight rather than swinging.
Weather-resistant, not precious
500D Cordura with reinforced stitching. It sheds rain and dust and takes brush without you worrying about it.
Carry the small essentials too
MOLLE on the bottom and both sides takes a $15 pouch for a GPS unit, a phone or a compact camera, and the LT1 includes a removable utility pouch.
How it works in the field
- Set the fitAdjustable straps dial in over a shell or a base layer, with or without a pack.
- HikeGlass rides tight against your chest instead of swinging from your neck.
- Spot somethingOne hand, magnetic lid, optics up.
- Keep movingLid closes itself and the harness goes back to being invisible.

Questions we get
Will it work with a backpack?
Yes. The straps are padded and adjust across roughly 80 to 400 lb of fit range, so you can set it up with a pack on.
Is it waterproof?
It is water-resistant and sheds weather in the field. In an extended downpour we recommend keeping the lid closed and your optics stowed.
Is it too hunting-specific for general use?
The LT1 is solid coyote brown and the LT2 khaki, with no camo pattern. The MOLLE webbing is optional to use.
One more thing worth adding
Hiking in grizzly country? The $15 Bear Spray Holster puts a standard canister on your chest with a one-handed draw, and mounts to a belt or pack strap if you are not running a harness.
