Is this overkill for whitetail?
No. The LT1 at $65 is the value pick and does the core job: weight off your neck, silent one-handed access, and a rangefinder pouch already included.
Will it fit over a heavy jacket?
Yes. The adjustable straps cover roughly 80 to 400 lb of fit, over a light shirt or a winter coat.
What about late-season cold?
