Worth it!
This things are built great. Easy to spot with the reflective tag, not to mention the nylon is breathable and tough. Lone trail does it again! Thank you
Reusable game bags · $70 for five
Lone Trail game bags use breathable 40D ripstop nylon for hunters who would rather clean one good set than keep buying disposable cotton bags.

Material
| Synthetic reusable | Basic cotton or disposable | |
|---|---|---|
| Wash and reuse | Yes | Depends on the product; often less durable |
| Pack weight | Typically lower for a comparable size | Often heavier and bulkier |
| Drying | Dries fast | Cotton absorbs more moisture |
| Purchase price | Higher up front | Lower up front |
| Long-term value | Better if you reuse it | Fine for occasional or one-time use |
Plenty of cotton bags do their job for a season. The case for synthetic is the second season and every one after it.
Care
Full care guide: are game bags reusable?
Fabric
Nylon on its own does not make a game bag. A bag that seals too tightly traps condensation against the meat; a weave that is too open lets flies through. The 40D ripstop here breathes so heat and moisture move out while flies and debris stay out. Ripstop weave also means a puncture stays a puncture instead of running.

Do the math yourself
No lifetime promises. Slide to how many seasons you expect to get out of the set and see what it costs per season.
Straight answer
For a hunter who only bones out and counts every ounce, there are lighter specialist systems. For a hunter who wants full-size bone-in quarter capacity and repeated use, about 2.1 oz per quarter bag is an easy trade. The whole set rides in its pouch and you will not notice it on the way in.

High quality material
These are great, super durable, definitely recommend
Yes. Rinse cold soon after the hunt, machine wash cold, air dry or tumble low. Hunters run the same set for multiple seasons.
Ripstop is woven so a puncture stays a puncture instead of running. Bone ends and pack frames are the usual culprits; if a bag fails because of how it was made, the lifetime warranty covers it.
That is the job. 40D ripstop nylon lets air move through the bag while keeping flies, dirt and debris off the meat. Hang or stage each quarter separately in shade so air reaches every surface.
Yes. The quarter bags are 40" deep by 24" wide, sized around a bone-in elk hindquarter. The four big pieces of an elk each get their own bag.
The five bags come pre-rolled inside the carrying pouch. Each quarter bag is about 2.1 oz. You will not notice them on the way in.
Lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects: send a photo and your order number and we replace the bag, or refund you if we cannot. Returns: try it on at home, 30 days, like-new, we pay the return shipping.
