Why we built the Game Bags 5 Piece Set the way we did

The pack-out is the part of an elk hunt nobody photographs. It is also the part where gear failure costs you meat.

A game bag has one real job, and it is not carrying. It is cooling. Breathable fabric lets air move through the meat, which is what keeps it from souring before you get it to a cooler.

Ours are 40D ripstop nylon for that reason. Four quarter bags at 40 by 24 inches, one 17 by 29 for tenderloins and trim, and a carrying pouch, so a whole animal is one pack.

They wash. Throw them in the machine and run the same set next season, which is the difference between a $70 set and $70 a season.

Questions hunters ask us

Will these fit an elk hindquarter?

Yes. The quarter bags are 40" deep by 24" wide.

I hunt whitetail, not elk. Are these too big?

They fit deer fine. Elk sizing is the ceiling: 40" by 24" for quarters and 17" by 29" for smaller cuts.

Do they smell like chemicals out of the box?

No. That is a real problem with a lot of bags and we knew it going in. These do not have that smell.

$70, and it should outlast the season

Lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Free returns for 30 days on unused gear.
