Will these fit an elk hindquarter?
Yes. The quarter bags are 40" deep by 24" wide.
I hunt whitetail, not elk. Are these too big?
They fit deer fine. Elk sizing is the ceiling: 40" by 24" for quarters and 17" by 29" for smaller cuts.
Do they smell like chemicals out of the box?
No. That is a real problem with a lot of bags and we knew it going in. These do not have that smell.
Can I reuse them?
Yes. Throw them in the washing machine and they come out fine. Hunters run the same set for multiple seasons, which is the point.
What is the reflective strip for?
You are packing out before light or after dark more often than not. The strip catches a headlamp beam so the bag is easy to spot.
